Who I am

Waldgang is operated by SYSTEM SCHMID, based in Switzerland. I organise structured forest walks paired with conversation formats in the Zurich area.

What information I collect

When you sign up via the waitlist form, I collect the following personal information:

How I use it

I use the information you provide solely to match you with a suitable walking partner, coordinate walk logistics, and send you updates about Waldgang. I never sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. I do not send unsolicited promotional emails beyond Waldgang-related communications.

Where I store it

All personal information is stored in a PostgreSQL database with row-level security policies, hosted by Supabase in the EU (Zurich, AWS eu-central-2). Access to the database is restricted to me. I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information I hold.

Exercising your rights

Under Swiss data protection law (nDSG) and the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email waldgang@systemschmid.com. I will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies or local storage for tracking. I use Plausible Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR and Swiss nDSG compliant. No consent is required.
